did you some how knock your transducer out of the horizontal position??
Check to see that is is locked in the correct position and not "looking back"
Had this happen several times and did not notice until I trailered the boat.![]()

the depth finder on my boat keeps freezing up when i am under way at any speed. when under way may work for a short while than freeze back up. i have a lowrance 125x. seems to be getting worse. the one on the trolling motor works ok. hope someone can help with this as not fun running not knowing the depth.
also if i need a new depth finder where can i purchase one?

Also, make sure you have a well charged battery. They do all kinds of weird things when voltage gets low. Might be battery connection too. Clean the contacts as best you can. Then, ever so gently, just slightly, nice and easy, bend on of the contact probes outward, forcing it to make better contact with the female recepticle.

we had the same thing happing to us have you tried a soft or hard reboot it may work it did not work for us we ended up getting a new transducer for $70.00 have you hooked it up to front transducer see if it works up front

transducer is in the right position. batteries are charged each time out and filled with water. i cant hooh it to the front not enough cable. i have raised it uo and down on the boat and it still locks on the screen may work for a second thsn freeze back up. sitting still and not under power it works ok.
maby a broken or loose wire and the torque from running puts it in a bind and causes the problem
