    Default trolling motor wire ?

I plan to change my trolling motor wire to 8 gauge. My question is do I need to go with marine wire or is standard wire ok? Thanks guys

I've had regular wire going to my trolling motor for 12 years no problem.

Standard will work just fine. But since you are going to change it anyway go with 6 and that way you will be covered for any size motor you may want in the future.

on page 7 there's a thread on this subject. a poster named bogieman posted a link to a company named "genuinedealz". i'm glad he did. i bought from them and i was going to make them myself. they've got great prices, great quality, and very fast turnaround. get their 6ga tinned wire. good luck
