    their will always be night bugs where their is a light, but the black lights are different. you will see a few bugs, but very few. and a bat now and then will dart at your fishing line. but they won't bother you. I installed a toggle switch up on the front of my boat, it just needs a hot and ground wire to work. I ran my wires from the fuse box, to the toggle switch. powered with a 3 amp fuse. you can go straight from the battery to the toggle switch, but make sure you place a fuse holder somewhere between the battery and toggle switch. on the hot wire. and as close to the battery as possible. black lights are the only way to enjoy night fishing.
