    Tom, my 997 still says 455/800 after all the updates, & yes I can select between each.     Yes sir that sure looks like mine, bottom side bout same size as a dollar bill.

    Pete said some of the early 997 had that frequency. I never noticed before. It is not in my booklet.

    I am lost.

    Looks like someone would tell us about this kind of stuff. Kinda pissy.......

    Jaxsprat solve my dilemma. I had the wrong xducer selected (somehow). I have never changed this setting. billbob did it.:D

    Setting was sidescan. Should have been hi def sidescan.

    Humminbird conspiracy.:D
