    Question Another 997 Problem

When I operate my 997 on 800Hz the right side has a real dark band down the middle. Left side looks good. When on 455Hz it doesn't seem to have the band. I thought it might be the transducer. Swapped it out with a new 1 and still have the problem. I have adjusted every way you can adjust the settings and still dark band.

Now... I'm a pretty good size ol'boy and when I'm at the console scanning the boat does have a little list (lean) in her. This would make the transducer sit at a slight angle in the water. Could that be the cause?
