    for every who owns a gps unit, how long did it take for you to learn how to use the gps on your depthfinder

    5 minutes maybe. Probably the only setting that made a lot of difference was "course up" on any unit I have owned. After that, it's all gravy.

    I did look for a long time on HB for how to turn the donut off, never found it and gave up. Maybe CP has fixed this for HB?

    One second longer than Beagle. :D If you have ever been around a gps unit, they are all pretty much the same. You'll have different menu's and possibly terminology with different brands of course, but for the most part, very similar in function. What are you getting? Maybe someone with that particular unit could shorten your learning curve a little for you.

    hopefully a 581i if i can find one. nobody seems to have yet,.bps doesnt think they will be carrying it. gander mtn doesnt know when they will have them. may have to order it from hb factory
