    Default I-pilot remote batteries?

This may be a re-post but the back of my remote reads: Battery type CR2450.So I order 10 of these and when I open the remote the one in the remote is marked CR2450N. Comparing them I notice the one in the remote is thinner than the ones I bought. And when I tried the new ones and put it back together it would not power up. Anyone else ran into this? Thanks for any input.

Just get him on, then we'll worry about getting him in!

    Default Heads up

Thanks for the heads up. I bought some but never looked inside to see if they match. I will be checking when I get home.

Someone posted here a while back to make sure you have extra batteries with you. I looked through my manual, can't find what size is needed. Do the batteries have to be ordered? if so, where and who from?

The manual says to use CR2450 coin cell battery. It also says: *NOTE: Panasonic brand batteries will not work with the i-Pilot remote.

This is on page 32 of manual.

I haven't looked inside the remote.

I wished they would change this as I hate CR2450 coin cell batteries in anything. That is why I am waiting, let them get the bugs out.

Our local Grocery/Drug stores carry the Cr2450 as I just bought some for a Garage door remote, so I am sure they should have the CR2450N as then have about 2 dozen of them style batteries, kinda pricey for what U get.

    Talking Remote batteries for I-pilot

Took my remote apart this afternoon. The battery is a Renata(Brand) The numbers on the battery are CR2450N 3 Volt Lithium. I bought straight 2450 from wally world and don't think they will work as stated in above post. Bought the correct ones at BatteriesAndButter.com Batteries-Duracell Alkaline, Eveready Energizer, Rechargeable Ni-MH, CD's, DVD's, iPod Accessories, & Blank Tapes. Thanks for the heads up as I would not have had the right replacement for remote.

I should have checked the manual. Guess what kind I bought.
