Now what?

Just put a new humminbird 718 on my boat, and honestly don't have the slightest idea how to use it, I don't even know what I'm looking at when I see the picture on the screen. Is there anywhere I can go to get some pointers on using this depthfinder? Maybe a book, fishfinders for dummies?

The best way I have found is to get out on the water and experiment with it. Take your manual with you and leave your poles at home. It will be worth it and it really doesn't take long to catch on.
