Check under your setup tab for a setting called "Temperature graph" and make sure it set to "on"....

Also.. you might check your readouts menu under the setup tab....

Restoring defaults may have changed the readouts....

There is not a Temp Graph option under the settings on mine. Also I do not see a readouts menu anywhere. The box where the temp display is there but it is empty.

Sounds like you need to change your user level to advanced? To see all the menus.

Just tried it and it still doesn't appear. It's like the temp feature has been completely errased. The box is there but the option of selecting temp for that box is gone.

Got me, that's all I had to do after the upgrade. Did you look under the views menu to see if it was visible ??

    Hi,
Remember to be in "Advanced Mode" after an update >>> always! The unit is reset to Normal Mode after a "Reset".

Then, if there is a question about a device not working, determine whether the device is present -- as known by the Humminbird "head". This can be found on the "Accessory Test" screen (you turn this screen on (normally off) by going to "Views", then scroll down to "Accessory Test" >>> select "Visible"). Close you Menu screens and roll up/down to Accessory Test screen and look. Basically, what is displayed on any Humminbird unit is determined by what devices "it" believes is present, the transducer type it was told was present, and??? This is where you find cable or device problems.

As to the Temp question, I believe your referring to the 2D screen that you can add "Selected Readouts" to. To modify that screen first go to it, then hit “Menu” twice, then slide over to "Setup" column, then slide down to "Select Readouts", then open, then open the Readout Boxes (1-5) and make your selection (Temp can be placed anywhere on that screen only). Again, if the "head" does not detect the device present (for whatever reason) >>> it cannot be selected.

I believe this info will help resolve your Temp question.

    Take Care,

    Roger

Yeah when I go to select readouts there is no temps selection in any of the boxes. It is like it has been erased or something. It worked before the update I installed.

I just brought my unit inside and used my wall plug to try out the suggestions. When plugged in to the wall it runs on Demo mode. The temp was there and everything looked normal, I took it back outside and plugged it in and it still does not show temp or list it as an option. Also I can turn off box 6 in my "select readout's" and it will not go away, it stay's on heading. I wonder if I should reload the latest upgrade again and see what happens?
