I need all the help I can get at times and HB has been there for me. I also have 2 lowrance units and Ms. Colt was very helpful. Sorry to see her go! I hope HB treats their employees better.

I totally apperciate Greg and Joby's imput...here and the other SI forums....

I hope they are compensated in some way from HB for the valuable help they give....they deserve it.....

It takes me 1-3 hours everyday to just stay up-to-date on all the posts in just 3 of the forums that they frequent....

I'm sure they are members in more than just the ones that I frequent....

My hat is off to them...whetther they get paid for it or not....!!

Yes thanks Gregg and Joby and others who help.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Well lets see, I guess the real question is "why would lowrance have to come to this site in the first place"??? They've come out with a top-notch unit that has HB pissing and moaning and the Lowrance guys haven't had all that many problems with them... Unlike the 27 threads on this forum about the endless problems that HB is having and has had in the past. Its amazing how all the HB people are praising these guys to no end but 5 months ago they were ready to sell there stuff and by Lowrance!!!!! So the best question for the HB guys to ask themselves is why didn't HB have all this stuff fixed and operational when they sold you the unit. Did the guys that came up with the technology just figure that these fisherman wouldn't know what they were looking at in the first place so it really don't matter if it works properly or not or did they just not give a sh!t. I guess I'll let the HB guys answer that one since I have a Lowrance(if you hadn't figured that out already). Oh and by the way, haven't had one bit of trouble with my GPS,or anything else for that matter, matter of fact sometimes its so fast I cannot even keep up with it... lol

Well i would have to say lowrance wouldnt come to this site due to the fact that they have poor customer service in the first place, everything will be ok until something happens then you might not be so happy, i will say lowrance has some cool stuff, but look how long it took to develop it and then you have to pay for all the extra stuff.

Braggin on hired help is a little different than bragging on units, but it is part of the package.

When we do the side by side SI tests in March, then we will express our opinions. Opinions do count sometimes and we will be fair and balanced.

All units oughta do what their specifications claim they will do. I have both Lowrance and HB. They both have their good and bad points.

I still ain't happy with the donut.

I agree with chuck they are here helping when NOBODY else is-why knock it.
Yes i own 997 3 plus years, but need at least this summer 2010, to see which way I go with new side imaging units-- 2011 models.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
