    Are you saying that because that is interferance on his screen. Im confused but IS that interferance in the water column

    I see some of the same "scatter" when I'm dealing with prop wash or other turbulent waters, like we have on the Mississippi (first two pics). The second of those two pics shows be pulling up behind a barge, which really gets the water churned up. Little bit of noise? Yep. Still a very useful image? You bet!

    Otherwise, I get wonderful clarity, like the third and fourth pics.
