BTW, in light of the news about Mrs. Colt leaving the "other" place.....is there an email address where we could sing your praises and show our appreciation for what ya'll do here? Sort of a pre-emptive strike if you will.

Update 4.770 which includes DI has been avaliable for a few days. Just go to the HB site & register your unit if you have not done so already then go to my account & the update 4.770 will be there.

I have loaded it on my 798 & it is awsome. Can't wait to lake test it. Have played with it on the simulator & it is cool.

Yep, it's out there... Downloaded it yesterday, going to put it on the 797 today (I also have an update to do for my 788)... Hopefully have time to put them both on today. Just wish I could get on the lake sometime to test it all out

Akshewally, I didn't realise the 4.770 was it. The date I was looking at was the purchase date and thought it was the release date. Dadgummit. Installed it Sunday and spent 6 hours on the lake Monday and didn't even realize I had down imaging available to me. Am I stewpit or what. Don't answer that.

Weird thing is, I put the update for my 787 on the same card at the same time. The 797 updated fine, but the 787 didn't recognize the update and powered up normally. Went back and deleted the files, redownloaded the update for the 787 but haven't tried again yet. Maybe tonight.

Speaking of which....the 787 (1st trip out with it) would give me a circle icon below a certain speed - think .5. Above that and I got the boat icon with directional arrow. Any control over that available? Annoying as crap. Liked the unit though.

Don't go by what I typed CP, I paid no attention to the 797 GPS and the 787 doesn't have the update yet. Was just wondering if the update would address or give me control over it.
