The chokes are for just filtering noise.

Are these common mode chokes? What seems to be the most hazard EMI/RFI frequencies?

The older cables had the snap around magnetic choke should have come with the older cables.

If everything is hooked up this way then the interlink needs no other power? Mine is not working for some reason.

    I don’t save that kinda stuff… I drew that kinda stuff! :D

The Choke Cables are only needed if there is RF interference from the trolling motor. We started packaging them with the Interlink around July of last year. They take the place of needing to wrap the InterLink connection cables around the ferrite rings if you have trolling motor interference.

Wiskers, with the GPS connected to your unit through the InterLink you are not getting the faster GPS update speed that Jaxsprat is talking about. Do you have just the one unit and move it from the console to the bow or does it stay only at one location?

Callshy, The InterLink draws its power from whichever units is powered up first. This is nice in that when you turn you units off the InterLink is no longer drawing any power (and draining your battery).
