Have to watch it when sliding the lock. It will pinch the crap out of you hand.:o

The deck ( where I mounted the base) flexes too much. I am gonna get JeffW to look at it this spring/summer and figure something out. I am not good with metal.

I like being able to fold it down so to bring in the TM without removing the T rod. I got some mechanical drawings on it somewhere. I will try to look the drawings up.

Hey Cane Pole, What is that starter rope on your trolling motor for??
You have to manually start it before trolling?:D:D
Hadn't thought of having a remote lever to deploy the trolling motor.

Mr Canepole - After drooling over your boat setup my math side started to kick in. Assumptions of course had to be made. 100 fishing trips a year. Average of 15 fish per trip. Would have figured more trips per year but I figured boat modifications keep you rather busy.

New math or old math I came up with a figure of 217.36 per fish. My question to you is" How in the ell did you manage to make it so economical ? ":D

CP, now I'm even more confused. In this pic I see one big ff (or at least a cover). but in the first pic on this board, I see two, a large one and a larger one. Can you explain the set up please. Thanks.

Canepole also runs a computer that he built. I think there's a thread that explains what he did. I believe he uses the PC for his gps mapping.
