    Hello, I have a 797 and I,m using the 1197 puck. Will the new down imagine release coming out, work on my unit. Thanks Lane...

    From what I read and understand the 797 will not have down imaging. The transducer does not decide this ability but rather the processor in the individual unit.

    The units capable of down imaging will be the 1197 , 997 ,987 the 798 and the new 800 series.
