Well I have been saving for a few months now and will soon be making a Side Imaging investment.Heres what I think I want to do as far as setup, and please tell me if I am missing it here.I want to be able to link both my units together and If I go with the Lowrance which is the direction I am leaning toward at this time, I plan on getting the HDS7 for upfront and the Regular transducer it comes with on my trolling motor.Then linked to an Hds5 dash mounted and the transducer for fish finding on the back of my boat.Now wait, theres more.I definately want the side scan option as well so I have to mount in the LSS-1,and the structure scan transducer on the rear of my boat. I understand that I will be able to read the side scan from either unit and still see my fish under me when I am at the front.I think I have all this down pat here, but if you see anything wrong with my plan, please tell me.Thanks....ps.........I have not ruled out the 997 up front with a 798 at dash linked together with one si transducer located on the back.
