Can you give me a link to the pictures your taking about that your taking about? I guess I have not seen the right ones. As every one of them I have seen are not even 1/4th of what my first generation HB does. But as posted I may have not seen the newer SI shots your talking about.
I may be looking at a New Unit by Spring and will be keeping a close eye on both. Have Ran Humminbirds for 30+ years. But if the Lowrance out does it may look hard at it.Just hope they figure out to keep the updates for all models and not drop them after on a few years. Thats what sucks in this world now. Units still good but company's drop the updates.
We will all win with both of them having these units now. As now both sides will be in a race to beat the other's Just think what will be here in 5 or 10 years..

I have to agree with this. Seems like when they just start getting good, they change and come out with something else. But then that's what happens in the electronic world. And if you want to keep up, you have dish out the $$$$.
