    I understand the 797 won't take the down image update due to memory limitations, but what about a new 798?

    The 798 will get the down image upgrade at no cost, just a simple download to an SD card then download. The 798 has the faster processor likt the 998 & 1198 will have also.
    Lots of "Bang For The Buck" in a small unit.
