Well I guess there is some confusion as I have always referred to the antennae as a "puck". the transducer is the transducer. Yes the GPS spot is marked where the antennae/puck is located on your boat- in my case its within 6 inches of the transducer. This is why I have always preferred & use the external antennae/puck.![]()

Ok, thanks Joby.
When you press the mark button to create a waypoint it always creates the waypoint where the GPS puck is mounted. For example if you are running 2 gps pucks you will be marking the the spot right on. If the GPS puck is mounted on the bow and on the transom of the boat and you press the mark button you will be creating a waypoint excatly where you are located.
If you are on the bow and your run across a brush pile and you have a gps antenna mounted on the bow and you press the mark button you have created a waypoint right on the spot.
Yes thats what I was trying to say, my statement was in reply to IBNFSHN first post of this thread as it seems to me some refer to the transducer as the puck, where I have always called the antennae the puck cause that's what it looks like to me. Just after reading here I read a post on the side site where they are calling the ducer the puck(23061), that's the reason I posted, trying to clear up terminology - what ever- good fishin.........:D:D

This should be the only way to use interlink.. Receiver directly above the transducer is a must.. IMO 2 transducers 2 receivers.. I would think eliminating the GPS receiver port on the interlink would benefit for the end consumer as well as the firm.
