I wanted a 522 myself, but found them hard to find. I did buy a 527c igps and have only used it a few times. Mine was NIB with all hardware, shipped for $550. I know the birds are the hot ticket right now but didn't have the extra. I bought mine as much for the gps/navigation as for the sonar. My last boat was a 16' alum /25hp. Now have 18' bumble bee w/150. Just a little step up. I didn't want to hit a shoal and these show channel in darker color. Worked fine til the mechanic broke the TD bracket. New one waiting. Love it so far, best stored inside away from high heats according to previous posts from other owners. Good luck in your search.
