I don't have a problem with the deploy handle, but my motor won't deploy unless I give it a boost with my foot. gets to be a challenge for an old fart to hold the handle down with one foot and kick the motor with the other.

I just got my boat back from the factory and spent most of the day rigging it. I got my Terrova mounted and the deploy handle seems to be stuck. After jiggling it and moving it around and around I finally got it to act right one time but after that if went back to being stuck. Anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks

If your not pushing the handle in. It will feel that way. But I'm sure your pushing it in then down?
Also if it was where a dirt dobber nest could be built in it. They did that to mine. After cleaning it out it was ok.

Slimey, do a search on Cane Pole and Powerdrive. I think he posted some pics and instructions on how to adjust the nut on those things to make deploying them easier.
Quit complaining about the color, just pull up your skirt and fish! -- snagged
NOPE!! I wasn't pushing it in. It is the first time I actually had it mounted and before this I had a Maxxum. I just went outside and pushed it in and BINGO.. Thanks Pete I owe you one and my Terrova thanks you as well. I was just before putting a come-along to it..haha!
just mounted a new terrova yesterday and had the same problem. But it was because the motor was in a bind. one corner was a little lower in the front. took a screw out and shimmed it up with a rubber washer and it works fine now. Manuel says it must be level but I didn't believe it but you know how that goes! lol
