Okay guys, every year I get the fever for a new depthfinder. Now both of my 60 dollar eagles are KAPOOT, so I have to replace with something.
I was thinking of putting a HB 383C on the front trolling motor and later interlinking with a sidescan on the back.
Called HB support and they said that nothing but a 700, 900, or 1100 series would interlink together.
Is this right, I thought that Cabelas seemed to indicate that interlink would connect more????

Let me guess, I bought a new Matrix 97 and its now not made anymore? Just my luck. Sure wish I would have seen that before shelling out $600+ for it.But I hope its like all the other humminbirds I have bought and used over the last 25 years. Only had to send one back for work.
