Yes, the NEMA bus needs to be terminated. Look under LowranceNet Red to get the part numbers you need from the link below. I'm not sure if the parts are available a la cart or not.

if you have the "network connector" which is a wire-not a "T", you should be able to use it. if my memory serves me correctly you only need 1 60 ohm terminator with this.
