after watching the video again I'd surmise that you can use the IPilot on any motor you have PD2 or Terr. You'd just have to switch the top half of the control box each time you want to change the one you're using as the man said it just plugs in the the bottom half. The problem, as I see it would be if your not careful you could strip out the screw holes or maybe just wear them out.
Just guessing here, but that's what it looks like to me.

Thanks for posting a link to my i-Pilot field test website. I've been running the i-Pilot on my Terrova 101 for the past couple of weeks, and I'm completely impressed with its ability to perform some pretty challenging boat control tasks.
