    Default problem with 332C

My 332 will start up by itself. Sitting in the garage the other day I spotted my 332 was on. I turned it off and went back to my workbench. I looked over at the boat again and its back on. I have shut it off now like 50 times and it keeps turning itself back on. Is there a fix or is this thing possessed?

It is a known problem with the circuit board that has the switch on it. My 332C did the same thing. It got to the point where I had to pull the fuse when it was not in use. I upgraded to a 27C and the problem has gone away. The only issue with the 27C is the display locking up in shallow, weedy water. The latest beta software release finally addressed the issue two years after I first reported it to Lowrance. I reported the problem to them just after the unit came to market.

Lowrance will send you a newer unit but it will probably cost you.

At one time, someone on here had a contact at Lowrance. A woman I remember. Does anyone still have her contact information. She supposedly was a better contact then the 800 number at Lowrance.

    Thanks,
    Scott

That number and info needs to go into the archives. I know this won't be the last time it's needed.
