    Has any of you had a problem with the terrova auto pilot. when I am trying to go pretty fas with it it will be going ok and all of a sudden it turns left or right? any help thanks .

    It will do that if your shaft is more than 5° out of being vertical when deployed.

    Mine does it occasionally, mostly in rough water. I've just learned to live with it.

    mine did that also, took to dealer,was control board in the head, 3yr warrenty, so no cost

    The unit is level when deployed so I will take it to dealer and let him check it. and post what they find out

    Mine does it occasionally (1 time every 608 outings). It usually only does it when I go tot he back of the boat for some reason and I am long lining. The boat is doing a circle before I know it. Let me know if you find out anything.

    A prop or the washer under the nut out of balance can make em act up too -
    at higher speeds.

    compass board was bad was under warranty so if yours is doing it carry it to a dealer while under warranty.
