    I have a lowrance also, turn your sensitivity down and all that stuff will go away. as for the 4 ft line that is just surface clutter. There is an option for surface clarity in the sonar menu but you sacrifice some bottom clarity with the clear surface so I run my surface clarity low. You ain't gonna mark many fish in the 4 ft range anyway due to the size of the cone. Just my opinion hope it helps

    I keep checking back in this thread to see if someone has figured this out!
    Even if I turn my sensitivity ALL THE WAY DOWN on my unit, I still cannot get rid of this. Its so bad, it's gotten to the point where I don't even turn my unit on.
    Thinking I may have gotten a bad one?

    Go to another lake and see if it disappears. That oughta tell you something.

    Ready2fish, I'm no expert but I would say that the shots you gave I interpret as having a tcline about 14 or 15 feet. several fish above but no fish below that level. Don't know about the clutter. Have a HB565 and can't turn my sensitivity high enough to get the constant line I've seen on others. still like it though.
