I run my transducer wires next to all my wires without a problem for years. My first thought is the installation. Did you have someone do it? If so I would bring it back to him.

Transducer ?
Have a thrugh hull trans, stoped working. Got new one put it in, dosn`t work. hung old one over side pluged in works fine. Could it be trans wire to close to other wires in harness?
