Here just a few combinations when rigged on a light ball head jig catch fish:

For example, #2 are Claws which differ in action from #6 double curl tails. #2 are Joker tails attached to different grub bodies. #8 is a Club Tail which differs in action from any of those shown. #3 work well under floats which is far more likely than the other designs. #4 has an action that works especially well near cover because of its size and whip-action tail.
