Have used something similar with a little bigger jigs before. Just because you buy plastics, and a certain sized jig comes with them, doesn't mean you can't use another size. The ones I have came with like a #12 bare hook, but used them on a 1/48th jig.
Yes I have done that in the past one of my customers up in Oklahoma uses a quarter ounce On a very small bait.
The problem I have is I cannot find large size hooks in a Jig Like a one 0 Long shank on a 1/32oz.
