Spike It's plastic, I have been using for 3 years I think, every drum has been the same.

MF, you rarely hear about bad batches with these guys too.

    Just something to think about.
all the above plus do-it .

Do It's plastic has been VERY inconsistent in the several samples I have messed with. Either bubbles or yellows, VERY badly. Every time you turn around you hear about them replacing "bad" plastic. I have NEVER heard of Spike It or Calhoun doing that. Spike It and Calhoun are Manufacturers, they make their plastic in-house and supply large lure manufacturers (and other industries that utilize plastisol).

When I am buying as much as I am I refuse to buy something that gives me problems. In the few years I was buying drums from Calhoun I only had one with an issue and it was minor. I have been buying from Spike It (their parent company actually) for 3-4 years and I haven't had a bad drum (order going in next Monday for 8 drums if that tells you how much I usually buy).

I've bought 2 boxes of Do-It clear and 2 boxes Essentials. The 2nd box of clear had so many bubbles and browned in an instant. Threw it away. The 1st box of Essentials was a dream. 2nd not so much so but still useable.

Now why would I bother doing that? I buy my plastic direct from a manufacturer with very little consistency problems (none that I have seen in 3-4 years), not a reseller with what seems to be quite a few problems with the consistency and stability of their plastic. I often get small quantities of plastic in from other companies just to keep tabs on what is available.
