If I dont ask its my fault for not knowing
the plastic bait in the picture is from Southern Pro we are more curious about your thoughts about the style is I cannot duplicate it we are thinking about coming out with a different style of Stinger.
bob.
Great style of bait but a little heavy in the front for me. Smaller front end makes it better for pad fishing. I also like smaller for black crappie, but depends on the size of fish in your home area.

I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I just gave away about 500 brand new, in factory packages, baits like that from Southern Pro. I never liked the profile of the after I ordered them and never had a nickel's worth of luck with the ones I used.
I've so been wanting a stinger with a little more beef in the body as well as the tail. Somewhere around the 2.75" - 3" range. Tail would be twice as wide as it is thick.
Sorry Doc had to use a post you made - what's the difference other than name between what Doc has poured in this thread and what Bob posted??

The bait 1st posted allows for laminates. The one I have is a 2.4" bass tackle mold and doesn't. However you do it I wouldn't be worried about duplicating anything on a stinger. So many out there except what I posted earlier in this thread. Too many 2" - 2.5" stingers. I wouldn't waste my time developing another.
