    Default A nice boxful

I've been working with the Jacobs 1 7/8" Silverfish mold recently and have put a few in a box for moi in my five pet colors that always seem to get my crappies.

Starting on the top left are: bluegill/chartreuse tail, blue/chartreuse tail and purple/chartreuse tail
On the bottom left to right are: clear fire opal /chartreuse tail and gunmetal/chartreuse tail.

The gunmetal is really getting to be my serious pet. I started using this color mid-season last year and really had a hard time switching from it to any other color for the remainder of the open water.

This Jacobs mold is a dandy and making these baits has been a snap. My next session will be with a twin injector to see what kind of ruthless I can come up with. lol

And in Oklahoma. I just tied up a couple in this combo and gave them to my girl that loves purple. She caught more on that color than I did with my pet color combo. I'll be on the vise tonight.

Yes G I agree with you that purple/Chartreuse is a workhorse of a bait color
