Both of my daughters saw the actual shroud while in Italy several years ago.

Oh my God! Do you have a photo? If so please PM me. That was indeed a blessing my friend.

No photos in that place Mike. A camera or phone on was something short of a capital offense. They had to apply just to get in line to order tickets months in advance and then they allotted only so many tickets a day to view the shroud. They were fortunate to get tickets at all considering there were 5 of them and had to have all tickets together. My two girls said that a person did not need an imagination to see the image on the cloth. I'm not certain but I think they have ceased showing the shroud except on very special days.
