it definitely isnt cheaper, but they look incredible. i have never bought any from another place or used them before, so i cant say if they look better than others or not...just that these look really good. you are right, it is a bit of work...but its work i only have to really do 1 time. since i dont have to design the eye and figure all that stuff out, dont have to wait for the punches and materials to arrive, etc... now i can just print the decal and punch them out and it wont be stretched out over a long period like this first run.
the first run is always kind of a exercise in semi-organized chaos for me. making sure i have all the materials, and then the actual trial, where you are learning the nuances of whatever it is you are doing. for instance, i used a toothpick to apply the epoxy this time like the guy on the video...dont have anywhere near a uniform size. gonna use a curved tip syringe next time, so i can actually control the flow rate and hopefully get a more uniform final product. brian
