Depending on the mood of the fish, here in Alabama I have caught 16" and 17" Crappies on 1/32nd jigs, 1/16th jigs and 1/8th jigs all under slip floats Bob. A lot of my choices depend on how calm or active the water is. The bait size I use 98% of the time is two inches but I do have the 1.5" lures always handy. Congratulations on getting a new boat. I loved the Tracker I used to have. Never had problems with it.
