Our lake finally thawed and i found a few fish on the flats in 3' or less water i was using my favorite 2" stinger and was catching a fish here and a fish there and i knew there were more fish on each of the beds so i tried out my new tiny grubs and let me tell you they blew up on that little feller i had been jigpole fishin down in a stakebed i could see down in so i know i was fishin it right and only caught one fish but as soon as i put a 1/24oz jighead and the tiny grub on and pitched it over the top of the bed i started killin em i had a fish on the first 6 pitches and my buddy and i caught over one limit on that one bed....we fished a few more and it was the same story so moral of the story this ole dog learned a new trick.
