I keep getting this ripple effect in some of my tails. It almost looks like the plastic might be getting too hot in some places. Or some how it is cooling faster in spots and caving in. Could it be air bubbles causing this? What am I doing wrong and how can this be fixed?

I have never had that problem with that mold I don't know exactly what is going on there how tight do you clamp your molds and if you are running your plastic around 350 there shouldn't be any problems I don't see any indication of air bubbles and how much pressure are you putting on the injector remember you do not have to apply a lot of pressure especially on that mold but I have never ever had anything like that happen with that mold yet and I run my temperatures up pretty hot I run most like temperatures around 335 to 350 just make sure that the mold is a little hot and try that try what I mentioned and get back to me.
