Having to cut tails by hand is easier to swallow when a nail costs about a nickel. I doesn't matter what mold or fashion a person is going to do tubes, there is always a lot of second handling whether cutting the tentacles or fusing/shooting the skirt that was shot separate. I don't hardly ever use tubes and I won't waste time making them either when I can get all I want for a couple bucks a pack at the bait shop. If a fellow shooter wants to do a few tubes then the nail is maybe the best answer since tube molds are expensive.
