    Default Lureworks pourasol question

Had a mistake happen and ordered some medium soft pourasol. Didn't notice till we went to inject it in the mold and realized it wasn't the same were used to. I really like the medium so I was wondering if anyone out there has ever mixed hard with medium soft to get a little harder plastic. I understand you can get hardened but was wanting to see if just buying harder plastic and mixing it would get the same result. I'd appreciate any info anyone may have!

I have not mixed a harder plastic with a softer plastic I wouldn't even want to try that I would go ahead and buy a hardener and add it to your existing plastic to get what you want maybe some of the other guys have tried it like Rondon ctom maybe they will get on here in comment.

Buffalo theres no problem mixing different hardness plastics together. In fact there are advantages of mixing the plastics together than just adding hardner. Mixing the two plastics just takes a little stirring. Hardner is real thick and takes quite a bit of stirring to mix it well. Harder plastic formulas have more stabilizers which helps in the heating processes. Adding just hardner and you wont get the added stabilizer.

Good deal! The goal was to get the plastic to go further by adding a harder plastic. Appreciate that info I think I may try to risk it here. Personally the hardener has been tough to use so is like to avoid that if I can.
