Default Micro glitter and nano frys

The weather shaped up nice today and I could be in the garage and play without freezing my butt off. I've got a bunch of glitter.... very, very fine micro glitter that is a CS product sold by Do-It. This is not shown on their plastic's components page but rather along side of the vinyl jig paint. It comes in 1 ounce bottles. I've been chomping at the bit to see how well this glitter will work in a small bait and I now have my answer.

These are three color baits with the belly section clear at the bottom and then the pink/red glitter shot thru with a plate. The blue/blue glitter finishes the top section as a final shot. The pink plastic is just a very thin hot pink with some rose hi lite added along with the glitter. The blue plastic has a very small amount of midnight blue colorant in it along with the glitter and hi lite. The clear is actually a very weak silver pearl with some .015 black and silver micro glitter in it but not enough to be super apparent. If you look at the top one, the one on the right and the bottom bait you can see the clear in there under the pink.

With these plastic colors the red eyes make the bait look like they are madder than heck. The glitter though is a great product and does things inside the bait that conventional glitters made for plastic can't or don't. The smallest standard glitter for plastic is .008 while this glitter is 1/2 of that size.

Awesome. I love to use glitter in my soft plastics and teardrop lures also
