Thanks. I have you and Keith to thank for peaking my interest in trying to do soft plastics.

    Hey Bob,

Could I take a dremmel tool or something and extend the tail on this mold without messing up the mold? I was thinking about extending them 1/8 inch or so to give them a little more wiggle.

yes you can do this Mike but are you sure that you want to you do know that each one of those that you carve a slave to make the tail longer will be different in a will not be exact but if you want my honest opinion I would not touch that Mike.

the two-tone effect is done in many different ways one of my favorite is to take a half of the mold and take a small syringe infill the body with a little bit of plastic the other way is with a dual injector and there is one other way that I like real well is that we will take half the mold turn the other The mold around and clamped them together and shoot half and afterwords turn the other half around and shoot your second color [I didn't confuse you but there you have three different ways.

I will also inject the first color, take the squirt out and cut the belly off. Replace the belly in the mold and then inject a color for the back.

I would not take the chance modifying a mold that I like. But one that I didnt like I would do it in a heartbeat.
