Great looking baits. Eyes--- how do you put the eyes on I am asking cause all the baits I see for sale have no eyes and I would sure like to add some and fish them side by side. guess I am just a sucker for eyes..........

Jax the best way is to stick te eyes on and then dip in clear plastic. You can try to just superglue them on. Try to keep the glue under the eye only so use it sparingly!

It is better to stick them on and dip the bait in clear plastic. Many people do not put eyes on the lure because they are using painted jigheads with eyes on them. It all depends on which jighead you prefer.

On my plastics with eyes, I use a plain leadhead.....no paint at all with as much success as a head with color.

Also, dipping the eyes helps to keep them from being torn off. I was fishing a dock a while ago with a buddy who brought his camera along and we saw small sunfish swim up to baits with eyes and they'd literally try to suck the eyes off the plastic. Go figure. Those little sunnies were tough on even coated eyes.
