    Default Been busy

We've been on the go lately and its been to darned hot for me to be on the water when we aren't gone. Today I needed a diversion from the heat so I sat down at the shooting table and did some tinkering.

These are a couple of my pet summer color combos shot into a Bassangler's 1.5" stinger mold. I split the body color and added eyes. All of the colors were re-heats and now that I know the body cavity will alow me to play a little I plan to do up some fresh plastic with a bit more juice to it.

Now all I need do is wait for the temps to drop a few degrees and all the high water up here to drop some too and these will get a work-out.

question how come you did not put clearcoat on the whole body I think your plastic would've looked fantastic it still looks good don't get me wrong I think it would look a lot better with full clearcoat on the body Do love the color.

The plastic used in this little experiment was re-melt and these will just go in my private box. I plan to do a bunch with nice fresh plastic with stronger colors and those will get the full carcass dip. More than anything I was just seeing how well this split was going to be to look ok and cooked up some plastic that's seen some re-heats maybe ten times and is getting about ready for black to be added.
