    thanks guys for all the beautiful comments I would definitely use a jig. On the beaver boy in usage so the tale is swimming I do know how crappie1 is fishing it I'm sure that he will comment.

    Jaxsprat. That is the best part about that jig to me is being able to fish it in different positions. I am hoping to get some soon to trial out and thinking that one of the legs can be a weed guard.

    Snake,I am thinking about the crappie bug. Sorry for the confusion. There seems to be 2 baits being jigged through this thread!
