In both of the baits shown on this threadI will say that it took me some time to warm up to the segmented bodies they have. As a rule I do not care for baits with this type of body. Don't ask why, I just don't. Then I got to studying both of these and was wanting to try eyes to see if they'd come around a bit better. Still, that front segment held up my thought process until I got it in my head to build just the first segment up just a bit with clear plastic, then apply the eye to the more substantial surface and re-dip to seal. I wasn't sure what I would end up with but in the end I like it.

This stinger I have had for some time but was saving it to add to next falls line of winter tackle, but then I decided to do it up with the eyes after the first attempt with the MM came out like it did. I'm happy now.
I kind of like the fact that you put eyes on those little guys they look awesome good color combinations.

    Crappie1....

They worked good yesterday even though we had conditions that just about kept me off the darned water. Sunfish, crappies and bass fell victim to these little guys early but the fish wanted something a bit larger after about 930. Its just odd how I maybe had something just a little larger to accomodate their whims. lol
