Hi Bob,
I still set my mold prices the same way I always have, based on machining time and material cost.
Some of the newer molds are more complicated to machine and take longer to cut.
I did raised the price on one new mold after I listed it, (3" Spade Tail) because the guy who requested it, "Screwed me"
I'll probably lower the price on that mold after I get over being mad about losing 8 hours design and programming time.
It's difficult to keep everyone happy, some people want inexpensive molds with just a few cavities and other people want as many cavities as they can get and are happy to pay for them.
I am also working on updating my molds to accept the 5/8" diameter nozzles.

This should explain the reasoning for the prices. Everything has went up and he has to make his prices reflect the expense he has to create the product. His prices are very good compared to other mold makers.

he also has impressed me very much and has worked with me without any problems he has made me many different molds which you guys are buying now a lot of them were my designs he is been so busy with so many people that he has hardly time to work for me anymore but he will definitely get back with me in the future it just a busy time of the year for him you can depend on him for top quality service the thing about Rick is he makes of molds that are really sufficient for us to use any other molds are made on the market by custom mold makers are not quite design right of course there are waste of plastic on quite a few of them Rick has a molds that are more sufficient and less waste when you are shooting them in a course that you can shoot faster we will still back him 100% on anything you cannot beat the quality and friendship that you get from Rick he will definitely work hard for you .

All of my molds are from rick and I am very happy with what I get from him and to find some one that will work with you on your own design and has no problem designing a mold that shoots like you want it is priceless. Rick gets a A+++++ from me!
