    Default question about spike it

I found some old soft plastic baits that I want to result in the microwave to reuse. They were bass baits with spike it on the tails. Is it safe in the microwave to result these type lures? should I cut the tails off first? I am thinking about melting them all and adding black coloring from jannsnetcraft to make black Crappie lures.

I cannot answer your question like I have never tried to melt any thing down with spiked it on it I know the general man reads this post that works for them maybe he would comment you may ask baitman see if he knows anything but I surely don't too bad you did not live closer Mike I would give you 15 gallons of odds and ends we do have a lot of waste .

    Ship,

I had some old bass works that had Spike It on some of the tail sections. I melted them down and did not see any difference. The ratio of spike it to plastic was low.
