They have the bigger holes and a locking nozzle. I have the Bass tackle and jacobs and really like the jacobs better but I may be in the minority. Jacobs will shoot every brand mold out there I think but some of the bigger hole injectors won't work on some of jacobs but You can get an adapter to fit on jacobs molds from jacobs baits.CF

I have the Jacob's injector and like it as well. Jacob's does not sell the adapter for the other manufactures injector anymore. I checked with him when I ordered my stuff. I don't worry about his tip being smaller as I only shoot small quantities with a few molds.

Well a Woodsgoat is an uncommon name given to a too common animal in My opinion that is known as the white tail deer. If there was a list of Animals that I could wipe off the face of the Earth with the wave of My hand, It would be at the top of the list. Deer are pretty much goats that reside in the woods. Ain't no reason to give them a flashier name. They eat everything including My crops and they run in front of Your car and cause You a pile of money and then a Billion dollar industry built to make money off the stinking things. Most folks that no me know that I have a hatred like no other for these vermin. My signature is a mild statement.

Now for the injectors, I think the hole in the nozzle between the bear's and the basstackle's is the same. Basstackles has the twist lock nozzle but bears does not unless they have made changes. I like my Jacobs better than the bass tackle injector but the BT gets the job done.CF

HaHa never though of a deer like that but i see your point. They do alot of damage to crops and autos. How was the crappie farming in NC this fall. Here in Alabama was good they were a little short but caught a lot most were in the 10" range. We caught around a 100 with 30 to 50 keepers several trips. We had tornados come thru in April and blew trees all down the Tenn River. Did a lot of damage. We were fishing the tree tops. We would lose a lot of jigs and tear the plastic. That is why i am wanting to pour my own plastic. I may not get to crappie fish this spring like i did in the fall as i am starting to do some Bass fishing. Have you tried any of the molds that are made of plastic and are injection molds. I know they would not hold up like the aluminum but would be great for a few plastics to use. Thanks again for your time and input. Cub48

Never get to fish much in the fall or spring due to planting and harvest. Have only been once this winter. Hope to change that soon.CF
