    What is the oily substance in most bags of plastic jigs? It keeps em from sticking together an all. What is it? Where ya get it? thanks alot

    use mineral oil, same oil I use on knife handles and wood cutting boards. It won't turn sour like some other oils. Or if you are going to use the plastics in a week or so you could use a little fish oil from one of the fish oil pills you get at drug stores. I sometimes take a few plastics I plan to try within week or so place in plastic samich bag with a little anise oil scented cotton ball,gives fishes a new change of taste

    It is usually a specific product called "worm oil" and can be purchased from the same place that people buy plastic for molding.

    Mineral oil supposedly makes the plastic hard and dry out.
